A friendly non-profit community choir for everyone!
Based in Walton-on-the-Naze, we sing popular music not choral, with no music reading ability needed. Its all about fun and friendship.
Singing is good for your well being and brings people together from all walks of life, from all stages in life.
No auditions…No previous experience in choirs needed… We just love to sing!
Are you a hairbrush singer, a shower singer, a driving along posing like a diva when no one can hear you singer, or a mumbling along with words you just made up singer? Then you are our kind of singer!
Are you feeling isolated? Depressed? Shy? Having a rough patch? Loving life? Hyper? Need a change? Want a voice? Want to make new friends? Bit bored? Need time for you? You are welcome!
What We Do…
Fun
Not only do we perform at community events but we also take group trips to see shows, enjoy summer BBQs and Xmas parties!
Friendship
We are friends and we support each other. New members are warmly welcomed! We operate by committee, everyone has a say.
Community
We are committed to supporting our community. We fundraise, volunteer, perform and donate to local causes
Inclusivity
Lots of us have physical and mental health challenges. The WFGC is a safe place to reach out for support or share your worries
Confidence
Many choir members have found their confidence improve as we get out and perform together. We have so much fun entertaining others
Charity
Each year we choose a charity together and raise funds raise funds for them through our singing events

We meet most Monday’s at 7pm at St. Georges Church Hall, Hall Lane, Walton on the Naze

Our choir is FREE to join…
We want to make it as accessible as possible for everyone to come so it’s only £4.00 per session and that includes refreshments.
